Echogenic Catheter-Through-Needle System

Ultrasound guided nerve block procedures have radically changed in continuous Regional Anesthesia with new requirements for optimal visibility of the needles and catheters, as well as their handling. Pajunk has set a standard for this with the introduction of our Cornerstone Technology for needles, and also providing echogenic catheters.

The SonoLong Echo catheters are non-metal-reinforced, however allow for improved ultrasound visibility and are radiopaque.

1. Catheter with Central Opening

  • Enables the free flow of the anaesthetic – particularly in connection with the post-operative injection pump

2. Depth Markings

  • Graduation on the first 30cm in intervals of 1cm
  • Determines the exact position of the catheter

3. Steel Stylet

  • This provides the catheter with improved stability
  • Is placed in the introductory aid at its end, and is removed togehter with the container after the catheter placement
