SonoTAP® II

Echogenic, Non-Stimulating Single Shot Fascial Plane Block Needle

SonoTAP® II

Echogenic, Non-Stimulating Single Shot Fascial Plane Block Needle

Plane blocks like TAP, QL, ESP etc. are gaining momentum and are a valuable alternative to Epidural Anesthesia or General Anesthesia. However, these blocks rely solely on users experience and needle shaft and tip echogenicity. With SonoTAP ll, PAJUNK® has developed a special fascial plane block needle for ultrasound guidance only. Like the SonoPlex® ll, the SonoTAP ll also includes the patented Cornerstone Reflectors for best needle echogenicity possible, irrespective of the insertion angle.

SonoTAP II Overview

SonoTAP II Features & Advantages

1. Echogenic Needle Tip

  • Facet grinding with two inclination angles improves needle tip visibility under ultrasound

2. Cornerstone Reflectors

  • Optimized ultrasound visibility of needle shaft
  • Reliable needle visualization at any angle
  • 360 degree graduations on the first 20mm of the needle

5. Colour-Coded Needle Hub

  • Easy identification of needle size

3. Depth Markings

  • Easy to read and identify

4. Non-removable Injection Tubing

  • Closes system
  • No leackage
