2021 Above & Beyond Awards
Pajunk awarded the inaugural Above and Beyond Awards at its January 2021 sales meeting. The award recognizes employees who always go the extra mile for customers and colleagues. This year, Christine Klinner and Mary Rachel Henderson were awarded the Above and Beyond Award for their outstanding work and tireless pursuit of excellence in the service of the company and our customers.
Christine oversees a team of seven people as the Assistant Manager of Customer Service & Collections. She joined Pajunk in March 2017 as a Customer Service Representative and in Accounts Receivable. In January 2019, she was promoted to Customer Service Team Lead and Collections Specialist and was promoted to her current position in July 2020. Even given the restrictions of the pandemic, Christine rose to the challenge in her new position to lead her team in addressing and anticipating how best to support customers’ needs. Christine says that she loves working with her exceptional team and going the extra mile to help and support customers. When not going above and beyond for customers, she loves vacationing at the beach in Florida and snacking on Mama Geraldine’s Aged Cheddar Cheese Straws. She was thrilled to go on her first international trip to visit Pajunk headquarters in Germany with the Pajunk USA family in 2018.
Mary Rachel joined Pajunk in November 2018 as a Product Marketing Manager and has since been promoted to Senior Product Manager. The award recognized her for adapting and excelling during the pandemic, spearheading new corporate initiatives, and supporting the sales team during uncertain times. Specifically, she researched, developed, and led a webinar curriculum for the sales team to continue their education and product training via remote learning. In addition to collaborating across teams to roll out Pajunk’s Custom Procedural Trays, Mary Rachel has especially enjoyed developing and directing Pajunk University, which serves Pajunk USA corporate employees with both onboarding and ongoing education curricula and programming. When not working on trays or training, Mary Rachel loves spending time with her two beautiful rescue dogs, Scout and Daphne, and reading about the (often gruesome) history of medicine.
We are proud to recognize these women for their work going Above and Beyond to serve our employees and customers. Christine and Mary Rachel represent Pajunk’s mission to improve patients’ lives and support clinicians’ work through our dedication to innovating medical products that prioritize patients’ safety and wellness.
